Deputies are asking for the community’s help in identifying the suspect from an alleged gas station market robbery Sunday night in Chattaroy, who was caught on camera.

At about 8:50 p.m., at the Chattaroy Quick Stop-Conoco at 28312 N. Newport Hwy., the man reportedly brandished a knife and demanded money from the clerk, according to a news release from the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office. The suspect grabbed the money, left the store, got into a gray SUV and drove away.

The suspect is a white male, with dark black or brown hair. He stands about 6 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs about 190 pounds. He was wearing a black jacket with two light-colored stripes on the hood, blue jeans and dark gloves.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call (509) 477-3223 and use reference No. 10022490.
