Idaho boys: Donaven Santana leads Lewiston past Coeur d’Alene in overtime

Donaven Santana scored 36 points and Kash Lang laid in the winning shot as Lewiston (11-12) eliminated visiting Coeur d’Alene (13-8) with an 82-81 overtime victory in an Idaho 5A District 1-2 loser-out game on Friday.

The Bengals face Capital in a state play-in game on Saturday at Grangeville HS.

Moscow 58, Lakeland 37: Gabe Quinnett scored 20 points and the Bears (19-3) downed the visiting Hawks (9-12) to win the best-of-three 4A District 1-2 championship series and advanced to state.

Brayden Decker added 10 points for Moscow, which opens the state tournament on Thursday against Vallivue at Borah HS in Boise.

Genesis Prep 60, Lakeside 42: Johnny Hillman scored 20 points and the Jaguars (15-11) eliminated the the Knights (9-12) in the 1AD2 District 1 championship at Real Life Campus in Post Falls to advance to state.

The Jaguars face Salmon River on Thursday in a first-round matchup at Caldwell HS.
