Shooting in northeast Spokane sends one to the hospital; no reports of arrests

A man was taken to the hospital from an apparent gun shot wound Friday night in northeast Spokane and police are seeking the community’s help in identifying a suspect.
At 11:30 p.m., near North Perry Street and East Dalton Avenue, police responded to a 911 call of a shooting and found the victim bleeding, according to a news release from the Spokane Police Department. The victim’s name was not released.
Police closed the roads in the area for hours.
Officer Ben Maplethrope, public information officer for Spokane Police Department, said he did not have any further information on the shooting Saturday morning and said that on Monday police would be able to provide more information. He’s unsure if anyone has been arrested, he said.
