Seattle native Monica Nevi headlines Spokane Comedy Club

Comedian Monica Nevi’s name has been popping up around town quite a bit recently.
First, she opened for Jason Mewes at the Spokane Comedy Club.
Then, she was right back on the comedy club stage opening for Matt Braunger.
This time, Nevi has got the headlining slot to herself. She’ll perform at the Spokane Comedy Club on March 7 and 8.
Nevi, a Seattle native, started dabbling in stand up in college and has been a comedy scene staple ever since. She came in first at the Olympic Peninsula Comedy Competition and has performed at the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, the Seattle International Comedy Competition and Bumbershoot.
She also co-hosts the HugLife Podcast and has opened for Ari Shaffir, Erik Griffin, Sarah Colonna and Nick Swardson.
To tide you over before her performances, check out Nevi’s YouTube channel, where she posts atypical meditation videos and her series “80 For 80,” during which she interviews King County residents who are 80 and older about life, love and everything in between.
