Spokane Chiefs trade Tyson Feist to Regina for pair of draft picks
The Spokane Chiefs acquired two draft picks from the Regina Pats in exchange for defenseman Tyson Feist and a draft pick, the team announced on Thursday.
“Tyson has waived his no trade clause as he is looking for more ice time,” said Chiefs general manager Scott Carter in a team release. “We wish him the best in Regina.”
Spokane receives Regina’s fifth-round pick in the 2021 WHL Bantam Draft and Edmonton’s eighth-round pick in the 2019 draft. Edmonton’s pick was acquired by the Pats in a November trade.
In 33 games with Spokane, Feist recorded five assists and 28 penalty minutes. Regina also receives Spokane’s 2019 10th-round draft selection.
