Woman, 72, dies in crash with semi near Sagle

A 72-year-old Bonners Ferry woman died in a car crash on Friday near Sagle, Idaho.

Beverly Maples was driving a 1998 Toyota Sienna van on Dufort Road at about 4:45 p.m., and as she was attempting to turn onto U.S. Highway 95, she was hit by a semi truck, according to a news release from Idaho State Police.

Maples died at the scene. The driver of the semi truck was uninjured.

The crash is under investigation.
