Art Garfunkel to perform at the Fox on May 16

The Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox will present Art Garfunkel in concert on May 16.

Whether performing solo or alongside Paul Simon, Garfunkel’s voice has captivated generations of listeners.

Alongside his work with Simon, Garfunkel has released 12 solo albums, plus a book of poetry and an autobiography, “What Is It All But Luminous: Notes From An Underground Man.”

“Taking on the fear and vulnerability of a live show keeps you vital,” Garfunkel said in a statement. “I’m a singer trying to get away with a lucky job. I try to soothe, to lift…That’s my life.”

A man who wears many hats, Garfunkel is also a seasoned actor and holds degrees in art history and architecture from Columbia University.
