Boys basketball: Jake Wells scores 16 points and Pullman keeps unblemished record

Jake Wells scored 16 points and Pullman (13-0, 6-0) downed visiting East Valley (2-12, 0-6) 72-47 on Tuesday in a Great Northern League game.

CJ Frogge led East Valley with 17 points.

Clarkston 58, Cheney 47: Brandton Chatfield had 17 points and the Bantams (5-7, 3-2) defeated the visiting Blackhawks (5-6, 2-3) on Tuesday. Camden VerStrate led Cheney with 15 points.

Northeast 1A

Newport 62, Medical Lake 44: Danny Bradbury scored 17 points and the visiting Grizzlies (9-1, 3-1) defeated the Cardinals (4-8, 2-3). Samuel Gollehon led Medical Lake with 19 points.

Lakeside (WA) 92, Colville 59: Micah Holmes scored 26 points and the Eagles (9-4, 4-1) raced past the visiting Indians (3-11, 1-4) on Tuesday. Kobe Cunningham led Colville with 16 points.

Freeman 60, Riverside 44: Dylan Oja scored 19 points and the visiting Scotties (5-8, 2-3) defeated the Rams (4-9, 0-5). TJ Trapanier led Riverside with 17 points.

Northeast 1B

Odessa 69, Wellpinit 44: Ryan Moffet scored 33 points and the Tigers (9-0, 6-0) defeated the visiting Redskins (4-8, 2-3). Jason Flett led Wellpinit with 19 points.

Selkirk 57, Northport 18: Justin Krabbenhoft scored 17 points and the visiting Rangers (7-6, 5-1) defeated the Mustangs (1-11, 1-6). Zach Bruland led Northport with eight points.

Valley Christian 79, Columbia 42: Dawson Blew scored 18 points and the Panthers (6-5, 2-3) defeated the visiting Lions (2-9, 0-4). Trey Young led Columbia with 13 points. Sam Reese had 11 points with 12 rebounds for Valley Christian.


Deer Park 63, Springdale 10: Jobi Gelder scored 12 points and the Stags (13-0) defeated the visiting Chargers (4-9). Four other Deer Park players scored eight points.

Tekoa-Rosalia 72, St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse 59: Riley McLain scored 16 points and the Timberwolves (10-2) rolled past the visiting Eagles (1-11). Jaden Danielson scored 23 points and Kameron Greenhalgh 21 for St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse.

Almira/Coulee-Hartline 63, Davenport 45: Reece Isaak scored 12 points and the Warriors (7-3) defeated the visiting Gorillas (3-7). AJ Floyd led Davenport with 21 points.

Genesis Prep 61, Northwest Christian 47: Jonny Hillman scored 40 points and the visiting Jaguars (5-6) defeated the Crusaders (8-4). Eckahelo Simpson led Northwest Christian with 14 points.

Tri-Cities Prep 54, Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 48: Kobe Singleton scored 21 points and the Jaguars (8-4) defeated the visiting Broncos (4-7). Shontz Yaeger led Lind-Ritzville/Sprague with 10 points.


Coeur d’Alene 61, Lakeland 46: Drew Hostetter scored 23 points and the visiting Vikings (8-3) defeated the Hawks (4-6) in a nonleague game.

Jalen Skalskiy led Lakeland with 15 points.
