Girls basketball: Mickayla Jackson’s 16 points helps Clarkston stay perfect

Mickayla Jackson scored 16 points and Clarkston (12-0, 5-0) defeated visiting Cheney (5-7, 1-4) 51-41 on Tuesday in a Great Northern League game.

Emma Evans scored 12 points for Cheney.

East Valley 68, Pullman 34: Holly Flynn scored 16 points and the visiting Knights (12-1, 4-1) downed the Greyhounds (4-9, 0-5).

Ellie Stowell added 15 points for East Valley. Peyton Teevens led Pullman with 15 points.

Northeast A

Freeman 67, Riverside 33: Ellis Crowley scored 17 points and the visiting Scotties (10-3, 5-0) defeated the Rams (4-9, 0-5). Brittney Nortz scored 14 points for Riverside.

Medical Lake 54, Newport 24: Emma Maxwell and Jessie Lohman scored 11 points apiece and the Cardinals (7-5, 4-1) downed the visiting Grizzlies (1-10, 0-5). Alika Robinson led Newport with ten points.

Colville 36, Lakeside (WA) 26: Hallie Cox scored 12 points and the visiting Indians (8-6, 4-2) defeated the Eagles (4-9, 2-3). Joy Mahowald led Lakeside with 10 points.

Northeast 2B

Liberty 53, St. George’s 38: Maisie Burnham scored 25 points and the Lancers (10-2, 3-1) defeated the visiting Dragons (6-6, 2-2). Lydia Bergquist led St. George’s with 19 points.

Northeast 1B

Valley Christian 64, Columbia 16: Phoebe Trigsted scored 30 points and the Panthers (9-2, 4-1) defeated the visiting Lions (1-9, 1-4). Kendra Pope brought in 18 points with 11 rebounds for Valley Christian.

Wellpinit 56, Odessa 46: Lachelle Boyd scored 16 points and the visiting Redskins (8-3, 3-2) topped the Tigers (2-8, 2-5). McKennah Davison led Odessa with 15 points.

Selkirk 46, Northport 37: Jenna Couch and Whitney Dawson scored 13 points apiece and the visiting Rangers (6-7, 4-2) defeated the Mustangs (6-7, 3-4). Isabelle Bair scored 14 points for Northport.

Nonleague

Deer Park 55, Springdale 12: Havelah Fairbanks scored 16 points and the Stags (10-3) beat the visiting Chargers (2-12). Anna Patterson added 12 points for Deer Park.

Northwest Christian 59, Genesis Prep 40: Jordan Rabe scored 16 points and the Crusaders (10-2) defeated the visiting Jaguars (4-6). Rachel Schroeder led Genesis Prep with 23 points.

Davenport 60, Almira/Coulee-Hartline 35: Sydney Zeiler scored 17 points and the Gorillas (9-2) downed the visiting Warriors (9-1). Gabi Isaak led Almira/Coulee-Hartline with 14 points.

St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse 60, Tekoa-Rosalia 33: Drew Curtis-Brewer scored 22 points and the visiting Eagles (7-5) defeated the Timberwolves (1-11). Elise Wilkins led Tekoa-Rosalia with ten points.

Idaho

Lake City 61, Lewiston 37: Klaire Mitchell scored 15 points and the visiting Timberwolves (15-2, 2-0) topped the Bengals (6-8, 0-3) in a 5A Inland Empire League game. Caitlan Richardwon led Lewiston with 12 points.
