Gregorak, Orphey Leaving Montana State Football

Vince Bagby SWX
Big college football news out of Bozeman Tuesday evening, with MSU football head coach Jeff Choate announcing that both defensive coordinator Ty Gregorak as well as secondary coach Mark Orphey have resigned from their positions at Montana State in order to pursue other professional opportunities. Gregorak spent the past three season as the defensive coordinator for the Bobcats and helped them become one of the top defenses in the league over that span, as they finished top four in the Big Sky Conference for scoring defense and total defense in each of those seasons. Prior to his time in Bozeman, Gregorak spent four years as the defensive coordinator for the Montana Grizzlies. The Spokane native also had a previous stint with the Griz as linebackers coach from 2003-2009 under Bobby Hauck, helping the Grizzlies to three national championship game appearances. In college Gregorak played linebacker at Colorado.
