GSL boys: Tyson Degenhart helps Mt. Spokane edge North Central

Mt. Spokane 63, North Central 59: Tyson Degenhart scored 19 points and the Wildcats (12-1, 4-1) edged the Indians (6-7, 2-3) in Greater Spokane League action on Tuesday.

Jerry Twenge added 15 points for Mt. Spokane. Leon Sayers led NC with 24 points, going 13 of 16 at the line. Kiernan Knight had 13 points and Parish Neal added 11 for the Indians.

Central Valley 48, Lewis and Clark 43: Jayce Simmons scored 12 points and the Bears (8-5, 4-3) beat the visiting Tigers (4-9, 1-6). Ben Merritt led LC with 12 points and Darric Blockman added 11.

Gonzaga Prep 54, Rogers 26: Liam Lloyd scored 16 points, Anton Watson added 12 and the Bullpups (11-2, 7-0) routed the visiting Pirates (4-10, 1-4).

Gavyn Belthof led Rogers with 10 points.

G-Prep scored the first 29 points of the game, with Watson and Lloyd contributing 11 apiece, before Belthof broke up the shutout midway through the second quarter.

Mead 88, University 64: Tyson Rogalette scored 18 points and the Panthers (2-11, 1-6) knocked off the Titans (9-4, 4-3).

Jonathan Beard scored 14 points and Sam Wenkheimer added 13 for Mead. Logan Dreher led U-Hi with 14 points and three others added 12.

Ferris 63, Shadle Park 44: Reece Van Lierop scored 18 points, Kellen Erickson added 16 and the visiting Saxons (10-3, 5-2) topped the Highlanders (8-5, 1-4).

McCoy Spink added 12 points for Ferris while Nian Allen led Shadle Park with 15 points and Jake Groves had 12.
