Girls basketball: Genesis Wilkinson scores 20 points to pace East Valley over West Valley

Great Northern

East Valley 53, West Valley 38: Genesis Wilkinson scored 20 points and the visiting Knights (13-1, 5-1) beat the Eagles (8-5, 2-3) on Friday. Hailey Marlow led West Valley with 20 points.

Northeast A

Medical Lake 45, Freeman 37: Jaxyn Farmen scored 15 points, Jaycee Oliver added 12 and the visiting Cardinals (8-5, 5-1) knocked off the Scotties (10-4, 5-1). Ellis Crowley scored 11 points and Jordyn Goldsmith had 10 for Freeman.

Deer Park 33, Lakeside (WA) 30: Havelah Fairbanks scored 16 points and the Stags (11-3, 4-2) edged the visiting Eagles (4-10, 2-4). Maiya Martinez led Lakeside with 13 points.

Newport 67, Riverside 44: Alika Robinson scored 24 points and the Grizzlies (2-10, 1-5) defeated the visiting Rams (4-10, 0-6). Cydnie Lewis added 13 points for Newport. Sam Riggles led Riverside with 13 points and Brittney Nortz had 10.

Northeast 2B

St. George’s 54, Chewelah 35: Lydia Berquist scored 23 points, Abby Jones added 17 and the visiting Dragons (7-6, 3-1) beat the Cougars (8-5, 1-3). Bailey Smith led Chewelah with nine points.

Colfax 60, Reardan 43: Asher Cai scored 20 points to lead the Bulldogs (7-6, 4-1) over the visiting Indians (6-6, 3-1). Taylre Sakamoto-Howell added 12 points and Koerstyn York had 10 for Colfax. Emma Wiedmer scored 17 points and Ayden Krupke had 13 for Reardan.

Davenport 62, Kettle Falls 29: Lainy Jacobsen scored 18 points, Ellie Telford added 15 and the Gorillas (10-2, 3-1) beat the visiting Bulldogs (8-6, 1-3). Sydney Zeiler added 11 for Davenport. Mya Edwards led Kettle Falls with 10 points.

Liberty 64, Asotin 32: Maisie Burnham scored 26 points and the Lancers (12-2, 4-1) defeated the visiting Panthers (2-12, 1-4). Kylan Hernandez led Asotin with 13 points.

Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 68, Tekoa-Rosalia 28: Eliza Galbreath scored 22 points and the Broncos (4-8, 2-2) beat the visiting Timberwolves (1-12, 0-5). Delani Lehn led Tekoa-Rosalia with 10 points.

Northwest Christian 49, Wilbur-Creston 7: Ellie Sander scored 12 points and the Crusaders (11-2, 4-0) defeated the visiting Wildcats (4-5, 1-3). Jordan Rabe had 11 points and Christelle Simpson added 10 for NWC.

Northeast 1B

Inchelium 62, Valley Christian 43: Meika Heath scored 28 points and the Hornets (8-4, 6-2) beat the visiting Panthers (9-3, 4-2). Zalissa Sanfo added 19 points for Inchelium. Phoebe Trigsted led Valley Christian with 20 points and Karrah Pope had 11.

Wellpinit 49, Northport 34: Christina Flett scored 16 points and the visiting Redskins (9-3, 4-2) downed the Mustangs (6-8, 3-5). Ashlynn Hill scored 14 points and Jada Orr added 13 for Wellpinit. Hailey Young led Northport with 12 points.

Southeast 1B

Oakesdale at Garfield-Palouse: Logan Reed scored 30 points and the visiting Nighthawks (11-2, 4-2) beat the Vikings (7-6, 2-4). Julie Baljo added 11 points for Oakesdale.

Colton 89, Prescott 12: Dakota Patchen scored 27 points and the visiting Wildcats (11-2, 7-0) downed the Tigers (1-9, 0-6). Jordyn Moehrle and Addison Kinzer added 12 points apiece for Colton while Emily Schultheis had 10.

Idaho

Lake City 59, Coeur d’Alene 39: Bridget Rieken scored 17 points, Brooklyn Rewers added 13 and the visiting Timberwolves (15-2, 3-0) defeated the Vikings (5-9, 2-1) on Friday. Emily Minerath led Coeur d’Alene with 12 points.

Lewiston 54, Post Falls 46: The Bengals (7-7, 1-2) beat the visiting Trojans (3-15, 0-3).
