Girls basketball: Christina Flett scores 1,000th career point to lead Wellpinit over Inchelium

Christina Flett scored 12 points, passing 1,000 in her career and Wellpinit (10-3) beat visiting Inchelium (8-5) 69-49 on Saturday. Lachelle Boyd and Ashlynn Hill led Wellpinit with 16 points apiece. Meika Heath led Inchelium with 19.

Almira/Coulee-Hartline 62, Northport 41: Gabi Isaak scored 26 points and the Warriors (11-1) defeated the visiting Mustangs (5-9). Eliza Stark led Northport with 19 points. Maddie Murray added 11 for Almira/Coulee-Hartline.

Valley Christian 62, Cusick 24: Phoebe Trigsted scored 21 points with seven assists and Valley Christian (10-3) beat visiting Cusick (0-8). Kendra Pope added 19 points with 19 rebounds for Valley Christian and Emma Hardie led Cusick with 11 points.

Columbia 40, Republic 33: Lexi Nelson scored 18 points and the Lions (2-9) defeated the visiting Tigers (0-8).

Curlew 44, Odessa 40: Korin Baker scored 18 points and the visiting Panthers (7-2) beat the Tigers (3-9). Kenadie Elder led Odessa with 19 points.

Sandpoint 48, Moscow 37: Maddie Morgan scored 15 ponts to lead the Bulldogs (3-10, 1-0) over the Bears (6-10, 0-2) on Saturday. Kaylee Banks added 12 points for SAndpoint. Rhea Anderson scored 13 points to lead Moscow.

Timberlake 72, Priest River 19: Taryn Soumas scored 21 points to lead the Tigers (14-2, 3-0) over the visiting Spartans (2-11, 0-3). Brooke Jessen scored 20 points and McKeeley Tonkin added 17 points for Timberlake. Karah Fink scored 11 points for Priest River.

Bonners Ferry 46, Kellogg 41: Holly Ansley scored 14 points to lead the badgers (12-4, 2-1) over the visiting Wildcats (7-8, 1-2). Jaron Figueroa scored a game high 22 points for Kellogg.

Clark Fork 52, Genesis Prep 25: The visiting Wampus Cats (2-4, 1-2) beat the Jaguars (6-7, 2-1). Rachel Schroeder scored 10 points to lead Genesis Prep.

Colfax 65, Tekoa-Rosalia 37: Asher Cai scored 15 of her 20 points in the second quarter to give the Bulldogs (8-6) a victory over the Timberwolves (1-13).

Chewelah 55, Wilbur-Creston 30: Bailey Smith scored 17 points and the visiting Cougars (9-5, 2-2) beat the Wildcats (4-7, 0-5). Mackenzie Arden led Wilbur-Creston with 12 points.

Davenport 44, St. George’s 30: Janaye Wilkie scored 12 points and the visiting Gorillas (9-2, 1-1) defeated the Dragons (7-7, 3-2). Lainy Jacobsen added 10 points for Davenport.

Northwest Christian 58, Kettle Falls 41: Jordan Rabe scored 27 points and the visiting Crusaders (12-2, 5-1) beat the Bulldogs (8-7, 1-4). Zarah Johnson led Kettle Falls with 11 points.

Grangeville 42, St. Maries 28: Paige Lindsley scored 22 points to lead the visiting Bulldogs (10-6, 2-0) over the Lumberjacks (8-5, 1-1). Dakota Wilks led St. Maries with nine points.

Garfield-Palouse 55, Prescott 39: Kenzie Pedersen scored 21 points with 10 rebounds and the visiting Vikings (8-6, 3-4) beat the Tigers (1-10, 0-7). Maci Brantner added 15 points for Garfield-Palouse.

Pomeroy 57, St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse 31: Maddy Dixon had 19 points and the visiting Pirates (11-1) downed the Eagles (8-6).

Oakesdale 59, Touchet 19: Logan Reed and Julie Baljo scored 19 points apiece and the Nighthawks (12-2, 5-2) beat the visiting Indians (1-9, 1-6). Areli Orozco led Touchet with seven points.

Medical Lake 64, Cheney 58: Jaycee Oliver and Jessica Lohman scored 17 points apiece and the Cardinals (9-5) beat the visiting Blackhawks (5-8). Maggie Smith led Cheney with 17 points.
