MiFlavour is hosting a soft-launch celebration Feb. 1.

The event features half-off all desserts, including eclairs, cakes, cream puffs, tarts, mousse cakes, French macarons and more.

Customers can also enjoy free drip coffee or tea with any dessert purchase.

Beginning Feb. 1, the bakery – which formerly offered online and wholesale only – will offer walk-up, take-out counter service in a temporary spot in its new commercial kitchen while proprietors Maximus and Ella Piskun wait for the build-out to be completed on their new cafe. Plans call for the cafe to open in June in a newly remodeled space on East Sprague Avenue.

Meantime, miFlavour has already moved into the bake shop in the back of the building. That’s where the temporary take-out location is for now.

Hours are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and noon to 8 p.m. Sunday.

MiFlavour’s new location is at 3403 E. Sprague Ave. Call (509) 426-5596. Email ella@miflavour.com. On the web: www.miflavour.com.
