Girls basketball: Genesis Wilkinson paces top-ranked East Valley over West Valley

Genesis Wilkinson scored 16 points and Holly Flynn and Faith Adams added 10 apiece and East Valley (16-2, 8-2) – rated No. 1 by the WIAA RPI system – beat visiting West Valley (10-7, 4-5) 71-50 on Friday in a Great Northern League game. Hailey Marlow and Jillian Taylor led the Eagles with 13 points.

Clarkston 71, Lewiston 50: Ashlyn Wallace scored 27 points with three 3-pointers and the seventh-ranked Bantams (17-1) beat the visiting Bengals (9-10) in a nonleague game. Kendyll Kinzer led Lewiston with 26 points and three 3-pointers.

Northeast A

Medical Lake 58, Deer Park 38: Allison Duncan and Lexie Redell scored 16 points apiece and the visiting Cardinals (14-5, 9-1) defeated the Stags (14-5, 7-4).

Colville 52, Riverside 37: Hallie Cox scored 16 points and the visiting Indians (10-9, 6-5) defeated the Rams (3-13, 0-10). McKenna Reggear added 12 points for Colville.

Newport 32, Priest River 21: Alika Robinson scored 27 points and the visiting Grizzlies (3-14, 1-9) defeated the Spartans (1-12, 0-4) on Friday.

Northeast 2B

Davenport 70, Kettle Falls 30: Janaye Wilkie scored 18 points and Sydney Zeiler added 17 and the fourth-ranked visiting Gorillas (14-3, 6-1) beat the Bulldogs (10-8, 3-5). Samantha Dudley led Kettle Falls with 14 points.

Liberty 71, Asotin 20: Maisie Burnham scored 24 points and the visiting sixth-ranked Lancers (16-2, 8-1) beat the Panthers (1-16, 1-7). Kylan Hernandez led Asotin with 12 points. Aleena Cook and Delaney Goodwin added 12 points apiece for Liberty.

Northwest Christian 58, Wilbur-Creston 10: Jordan Rabe scored 15 points and Ellie Sander added 11 and the visiting seventh-ranked Crusaders (15-3, 7-1) beat the Wildcats (4-10, 0-8).

Colfax 46, Reardan 29: Skylre Sakamoto-Howell scored 13 points and the visiting Bulldogs (11-7, 7-2) topped the Indians (8-8, 5-3). Kimberly Dewey led Reardan with 13 points.

Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 55, Tekoa-Rosalia 18: Eliza Galbreath scored 20 points and the visiting Broncos (5-3, 7-10) defeated the Timberwolves (1-18, 0-10). Dakota Killian added 10 points for Lind-Ritzville/Sprague.

St. George’s 51, Chewelah 26: Lydia Bergquist scored 19 points and the Dragons (9-8, 5-3) defeated the visiting Cougars (9-8, 2-5). Alyssa Fitzgerald led Chewelah with 12 points. Abby Jones scored 16 points for St. George’s.

Almira/Coulee-Hartline 54, Inchelium 38: Gabi Isaak scored 20 points with 13 rebounds and Sarah Bradshaw added 14 points and the No. 3-ranked Warriors (17-1, 13-0) beat the visiting Hornets (11-7, 8-5). Meika Heath led Inchelium with 12 points.

Selkirk 36, Odessa 34: Jenna Couch scored 14 points and the visiting Rangers (11-7, 10-3) beat the Tigers (5-12, 5-8). McKennah Davison led Odessa with 19 points.

Wellpinit 60, Cusick 18: Ashlynn Hill and Jada Orr scored 10 points apiece and the Redskins (14-3, 9-3) defeated the visiting Panthers (2-13, 2-11). Teresa Campbell led Cusick with eight points.

Southeast 1B

Colton 82, St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse 18: Dakota Patchen scored 33 points and the top-ranked Wildcats (15-2, 9-0) beat the visiting Eagles (9-8, 4-5). Dew Curtis-Brewer led St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse with seven points. Rylee Vining added 11 points for Colton.

Garfield-Palouse 37, Touchet 28: Kenzi Pedersen scored 22 points with nine rebounds and the visiting Vikings (10-8, 4-6) beat the Indians (1-7, 1-6). LeAnn Kincaid led Touchet with 12 points.

Idaho

Genesis Prep 58, Lakeside 41: Bella Murekatete scored 24 points and Rachel Schroeder added 14 and the fifth-ranked Jaguars (8-9, 4-1) beat the visiting Knights (7-10, 3-2). Alyssa SiJohn led Lakeside with 10 points.
