GSL girls: Tomekia Whitman scores 16 points and No. 2-ranked Central Valley tops Ferris

Central Valley 64, Ferris 42: Tomekia Whitman scored 16 points and the visiting 4A No. 2-ranked Bears (17-2, 12-1) beat the Saxons (7-12, 2-11) in Greater Spokane League action on Tuesday.

Kate Sams and MJ Bruno added nine points apiece for CV while Elliot Hencz led Ferris with nine points.

Lewis and Clark 59, Gonzaga Prep 35: Jacinta Buckley scored 16 points, Sativa Rogers added 10 and the visiting 4A No. 6-ranked Tigers (16-3, 11-2) handled the Bullpups (11-8, 6-7).

Demi Howlett led G-Prep with 15 points.

University 72, Mead 50: Kinsley Barrington scored 26 points and the Titans (14-5, 9-4) defeated the visiting Panthers (8-11, 4-9).

Jacksen McCliment-Call scored 17 points and Ellie Boni added 10 for U-Hi. Erica Nessan led Mead with 16 points.

Mt. Spokane 77, Shadle Park 17: Averi Adams scored 28 points on eight 3-pointers, Aspyn Adams hit seven 3s and finished with 23 points and the 3A No. 2-ranked Wildcats (18-1, 10-1) beat the visiting Highlanders (1-18, 1-10).

Katelyn Pomerinke led Shadle Park with eight points.

North Central 75, Rogers 28: Quincy McDeid scored 19 points and the visiting Indians (11-8, 6-5) downed the Pirates (0-18, 0-11).

Kyara Sayers scored 14 points and Dakotah Chastain added 11 for NC. Regina Flemming led Rogers with nine points.
