One hospitalized in shooting near Hillyard Skate Park on Friday evening

A shooting near the Hillyard Skateboard Park on Friday evening sent one to the hospital, according to KHQ.

The victim, whose identity has not been released, remains in stable condition.

Police are searching for the suspect and have set up a perimeter near the skate park.

The shooting happened at about 7 p.m., and police had not released a description of the suspect as of 9 p.m. Friday.
