Concert announcements: Diana Krall, Savoy Brown, Toby Keith, Styx, Loverboy, Old Dominion, Walk Off the Earth

Today is a big day for the Inland Northwest concert calendar, as Diana Krall, Savoy Brown, Toby Keith, Styx and Loverboy, Old Dominion and Walk Off the Earth have all announced area shows.

Grammy award-winning jazz singer and pianist Diana Krall has announced a seven-show September tour, which includes a stop at the First Interstate Center for the Arts on Sept. 16.

Krall’s longtime collaborator and friend bassist John Clayton will join her on this run of dates, as will Grammy award-winning saxophonist Joe Lovano and drummer Karriem Riggins.

Krall released “Turn Up the Quiet” in 2017 and “Love Is Here to Stay,” a collaborative album with Tony Bennett, in 2018.

Legendary British blues-rock band Savoy Brown has announced a May 13 show at the Martin Woldson Theatre at the Fox.

Founding guitarist/vocalist Kim Simmonds is joined by bassist Pat DeSalvo and drummer Garnet Grimm, who have both been with the band since 2009.

The band, known for songs like “I’m Tired” and “Tell Mama,” released “Witchy Feelin’ ” in 2017. In December, the band entered the studio to record an album set for release sometime this year.

Northern Quest Resort and Casino’s Outdoor Summer Concert lineup has grown yet again, with concerts by Toby Keith, Styx and Loverboy, and Old Dominion added to the series.

Country music legend Keith will perform on Aug. 6 ($59-$119). ‘80s favorites Styx and Loverboy will perform on Aug. 22 ($49-$99), and country quintet Old Dominion will take the stage on Sept. 15 ($59-$109).

Tickets for all three shows go on sale Friday at 9 a.m. through TicketsWest.

And finally, the Festival at Sandpoint has announced the second act of the 2019 season: Walk Off the Earth on Aug. 2.

The indie-pop band released a holiday EP, “Subscribe to the Holidays,” in November.
