NWAC men’s basketball tournament: North Idaho, Community Colleges of Spokane open with victories

EVERETT – Nate Pryor, RayQuan Evans and Alphonso Anderson combined for 63 points Thursday as North Idaho’s men’s basketball team opened the Northwest Athletic Conference Championship by defeating Clackamas 105-68.
Pryor, Evans and Anderson finished a combined 27 for 49 from the field. Anderson added 12 rebounds and Jarod Greene 11 to fuel a 59-37 advantage.
The Cardinals (28-2) will play Centralia (20-10) at 1 p.m. Friday in the quarterfinals. Clackamas finished 20-9.
CC Spokane 90, Umpqua 77: JR Delgado hit 5 of 9 on 3-pointers and led five players in double figures with 23 points and the Sasquatch (21-9) eliminated the Riverhawks (20-10).
Asher Cox scored 15 points off the bench for CCS, shooting 7 of 11 from the floor.
CCS will play Whatcom (14-13) at 5 p.m. in the quarterfinals on Friday .
