If you didn’t get enough of the relentlessly peppy Elle Woods in August when Coeur d’Alene Summer Theatre produced “Legally Blonde: The Musical,” you’ll have a second chance when the “Legally Blonde” national tour comes to the First Interstate Center for the Performing Arts on March 21.

“Legally Blonde,” the musical, is based on the 2001 film of the same name, which starred Reese Witherspoon as Woods.

The movie itself was based on the book of the same name by Amanda Brown.

“Legally Blonde” follows Woods (Maris McCulley), a sorority girl who enrolls in Harvard Law School with the hopes of winning back her ex-boyfriend Warner Huntington III (James Oblak).

Though many doubt her at first, Woods soon discovers she has a knack for using the law to help others.

The touring production also stars Woody Minshew as Emmett, Jill Taylor Anthony as Paulette, Christopher Carsten as Professor Callahan and Berlande Millus as Vivienne.
