Eric Olsen - Nine Mile Falls School Board

Eric Olsen is a candidate for the Nine Mile Falls School Board.

Eric’s experience from patrol officer to member of the executive team of an organization of over 420 full time unionized employees, with a budget in excess of $50,000,000, has given him of wealth of training and experience.

Every school district faces tough choices in the allocation of scarce taxpayer derived revenue across many worthy programs. Eric’s experience with this complex and sometimes emotional arena is spot on to make him an exceptional addition to our school board.

Schools, like other functions of government, are personnel-driven organizations by nature. Eric’s ability to understand and resolve complex personnel issues in collectively bargained employment scenarios provides him unique insight that will undoubtedly aid the school board in achieving its vision and goals for the future of the Nine Mile Falls School District.

Unfortunately, school safety has become a necessary part of our national discourse on education in the 21st century. It is in this particular area, Eric’s training and experience truly make him the only candidate with the skill set to add a meaningful voice to the school board on this critical issue.

Eric also has a keen grasp of complex concepts, pragmatic approach to difficult issues, and genuinely listens to opposing points of view.

In sum, as a property owner, taxpayer, and supporter of quality education in the Nine Mile Falls School District, I wholeheartedly support Mr. Eric Olsen in his candidacy for this important position.
