A man died in a mobile home fire north of Garwood, Idaho, near Highway 95 on Monday morning, KHQ reported.

Northern Lakes Fire Protection District crews responded to the North Well Road and East Ohio Match Road area just after 7 a.m when a neighbor reported the home was on fire, KHQ reported. Crews did not know if the homeowner, a man in his 50s, had gotten out.

The mobile home was fully engulfed in flames upon arrival and the nearest fire hydrant was about 2 miles away, KHQ reported. Firefighters found the deceased man inside after knocking down the fire using six water tankers and two fire engines.
