Prep volleyball roundup: Teila Allen dishes 35 assists, Mt. Spokane topples University

Teila Allen had 35 assists and Mt. Spokane (3-0) defeated University (2-1) 25-13, 26-24, 25-9 in a Greater Spokane League match on Thursday.

Joliana Poplawski had 14 assists with an ace for University.

Central Valley def. North Central 25-17, 25-22, 25-20: Olivia Minnick dished out 21 assists and the visiting Bears (2-1) defeated the Indians (2-1).

Lucy McCollum had 13 assists for North Central.

Gonzaga Prep def. Lewis and Clark 25-22, 22-25, 25-19, 20-25, 15-11: Hannah Wood had 11 kills, 11 digs and four blocks and the Bullpups (2-1) beat the visiting Tigers (0-3).

Ferris def. Shadle Park 25-15, 25-22, 25-18: Olivia Schwartz had 14 kills with three digs and the visiting Saxons (2-1) swept the Highlanders (0-3).

Clarkston def. West Valley 21-25, 25-18, 25-22, 26-24: Corah Cassell had two aces and the Bantams (8-8) beat the visiting Eagles (3-6).

Pullman def. Cheney 26-24, 23-25, 25-21, 25-18: Addie Hawes had 40 assists with seven aces and the Greyhounds (6-0) beat the visiting Blackhawks (3-3).

Shelby Draper had 14 kills for Cheney.

Riverside def. Deer Park 25-22, 15-25, 25-18, 25-22: Jaz Newton had 18 digs and four aces and the visiting Rams (4-2) beat the Stags (2-4).

Paige Thomson had 17 kills with 14 digs for Deer Park.
