Occupational Medicine Associates joins MultiCare Health System

Spokane-based Occupational Medicine Associates is joining MultiCare Health System.

The medical group will become part of MultiCare’s Centers of Occupational Medicine effective Oct. 14, according to a news release.

The group provides health services for workers and employers, including treatment for job-related injuries, physicals as well as drug and alcohol screening.

Employees will remain with MultiCare.

MultiCare indicated it will work with patients to offer additional locations for occupational medicine services in Spokane Valley and north Spokane.

Tacoma-based MultiCare Health System is a nonprofit health care organization with eight regional hospitals and more than 17,000 employees in Washington and North Idaho.
