A woman was taken to the hospital Saturday evening after she was struck by a truck leaving a Post Falls bar, the Idaho State Patrol said.

The woman was struck outside Bob’s 21 Club, 212 E. Seltice Way, just before 7 p.m. by a man driving a Chevy pickup, according to a news release. The woman was taken to Kootenai Health in Coeur d’Alene for treatment.

The police did not identify the woman struck or the man driving the truck. He was backing out from the bar when the collision occurred, according to ISP. An investigation into the incident is continuing.
