Homeless photo op

I noted with interest your front-page photo of a smiling Nadine Woodward serving dinner to homeless men (“Spokane Mayoral Candidates: A Closer Look,” Oct. 13). I immediately remembered Woodward’s recorded interview with The Inlander, during which she stated “… until they [the library] get a handle on this, maybe the homeless shouldn’t be allowed in the library.”

Perhaps one of the dinner guests was able, during this photo op, to convince her of his worthiness to enter a public library. I certainly hope so.
