Anne Frank’s Step-sister Visits Spokane

Although it has been nearly two decades since the Aryan Nations compound in Hayden, Idaho, ceased to exist, recent neo-nazi flyers circulating in Spokane area reminder that their baseless, irrational hatred is still among us.

On Nov. 7, a unique symposium will be held at the Spokane Convention Center in downtown Spokane. Anne Frank’s step-sister will give her personal, eye witness account of how she survived in Nazi-occupied Europe during WWII, and the life lessons she took from her experience.

This promises to be an evening in which people of all ages and faiths can hear this important message and share in a common goal of unity and hope for our future generations.
