The Friends of Manito will present a class on dehydrating foods at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 21, at the South Hill Library, located at 3324 S. Perry.
The class will be led by Anna Kestell, food preservation/safety education coordinator at the WSU Spokane County Extension. The class will focus on how to dehydrate fruits, vegetables and herbs when they are in season so they can be used year-round.
