A man accused of child rape and molestation in May in Spokane County was arrested Tuesday in Fresno, California.
After an investigation by multiple law enforcement agencies, Marco Rocha, 32, was arrested on warrants for rape of a child and first degree child molestation.
The U.S. Marshals Service Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Taskforce and the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office said they worked together to locate Rocha in California, where they say he had fled to avoid prosecution.
Rocha was taken into custody at the home of a family member in the Fresno area.
He was booked into Fresno County Jail until he can be extradited to Spokane County.
