Man killed in crash on U.S. 95 in Athol

A man was killed and another sent to the hospital Wednesday evening in a crash in Athol.

A 1999 Mazda Millenia rolled off U.S. Highway 95 at about 5:30 p.m. when the driver lost control turning a right-hand curve, the Idaho State Police reported in a news release.

Dalton C. Felts, 20, an Athol resident, died at the scene. Angel M. Thomas, 24, was taken by helicopter to Kootenai Health. Neither occupant was wearing a seat belt.
