Let’s all do our part
COVID-19 has dramatically impacted all of our lives in the last few weeks.
At first it was a smaller problem not in our country, then it started to dramatically spread. At first I didn’t take it 100% seriously, I thought that because I’m young I’m not supposed to get sick, I can get away with living a normal life. But I didn’t see the impact I could be making on others by not trying my best to stay away and safe.
Especially with young adults and teenagers, it is very important for us to cut out the social hangout — especially with large groups of people. Even though we are less susceptible, we can still spread this like a wildfire to other people throughout our great community.
We as students now have the opportunity in Mead to do online school, which is so awesome that we can continue our school year. As parents you can help students learn and get familiar with this new way to learn.
We can all get over this virus and when we all work together to slow the spread we aren’t just helping ourselves but our community and all of the amazing health workers and other people helping to fight the virus.
