76-year-old killed in Ritzville crash

An SUV slid into the opposite lane and hit a semi-truck near Love’s Travel Stop in Ritzville Tuesday afternoon, leaving a 76-year-old woman dead.

Sally J. Graves from Washtucna was identified by the Washington State Patrol as the woman who died in the crash.

A Mitsubishi Outlander, driven by Graves, was headed north on State Route 261 just after 3 p.m. when it crossed the center line sideways, according to a Washington State Patrol statement. The SUV and a semi-truck driving south collided.

The driver of the semi-truck was not injured.
