Key Tronic Corp. reports net income drop in second fiscal quarter

Key Tronic Corp. this week reported a dip in net income for the company’s second fiscal quarter.

The Spokane Valley-based company reported net income of $824,000 – or 8 cents a share – in the second quarter, compared with net income of $1.6 million – or 15 cents a share – in the same quarter of 2019, according to a company release.

The company indicated revenue in its second fiscal quarter of 2020 was affected by an increase in spending to ramp up production at its metal fabrication facility in Juarez, Mexico.
