Wolff Architectural Group files plans for new hangar at Spokane International Airport

Wolff Architectural Group has filed a preliminary application with the city to build a $4.5 million aircraft hangar at Spokane International Airport.

The Spokane-based architectural firm submitted site plans to the city for a 29,000-square-foot hangar, 3,200-square-foot office and lounge, and 2,000-square-foot storage area at 8135 W. Pilot Drive.

The application indicates Stancraft Aviation is involved with the project.

Stancraft Aviation President Robb Bloem confirmed the company would manage the proposed hangar but declined to comment on specifics about the project.

Wolff Architectural Group also declined comment.

Hayden-based Young Construction Group is the contractor.
