Buttigieg right for America

My husband and I have never participated in a presidential campaign before. We started following Pete Buttigieg’s campaign last year. His message of uniting the country and fighting for everyday Americans really resonated with us.

Pete is a Harvard graduate, and a Rhodes Scholar. In 2011 Pete ran for and was elected mayor of South Bend Indiana; the youngest mayor of any U.S. city. Some of his accomplishments include increasing household incomes by 31%. Poverty fell by a third, and unemployment was cut in half. South Bend is now home to a tech education center has a strong vibrant downtown.

During his reelection campaign, Pete came out of the closet and was reelected with 80% of the vote. The citizens of South Bend Indiana accepted Pete for who he is and what he was fighting for. They did not judge him for being gay. They accepted him and his husband, Chasten, into the community.

The United States of America is very divided. Pete Buttigieg is ready to pick up the pieces of this divided country and unite us toward a common goal of unity, strength and change.

Make your voices heard on March 10th and vote for Pete Buttigieg.
