From staff reports

Airway Heights police say a 30-year-old man has repeatedly arranged to sell his car to people around the Spokane area and driven off once he had cash in hand.

Police say they have a warrant to arrest Joshua L. Cron, who is suspected of taking between $500 and $700 from people offering to buy his blue 2003 Ford Explorer.

Cron allegedly arranges to meet at Walmart, lets a prospective buyer test drive his car and takes their cash, according to a news release. Then police say he tells people he needs to retrieve something from the car, drives away and blocks the buyer’s phone number.
