Boz Scaggs announces May 27 concert at Northern Quest

Acclaimed blues-rock singer/guitarist Boz Scaggs will perform at Northern Quest Resort and Casino on May 27.

Tickets are $59-$89 and go on sale Friday at 9 a.m. through TicketsWest.

Scaggs is perhaps best-known for the album “Silk Degrees” and the songs “Lowdown,” “Lido Shuffle,” “It’s Over,” “What Can I Say” and “We’re All Alone.” “Lowdown” won a Grammy for Best R&B Song in 1977.

In recent years, Scaggs has released the albums “Memphis,” “A Fool to Care” and “Out of the Blues.”
