Deer Park woman injured in Douglas County car crash

A Deer Park woman and her young passenger were taken to the hospital after a car crash near Daroga State Park in Douglas County on Saturday evening.

Jamie Clark, 35, was driving north on Highway 97, just north of Orondo, when another car going the wrong way hit her head on, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Clark attempted to turn to avoid the crash but was unable to avoid the on-coming car. Clark’s young passenger was also taken to Central Washington Hospital. The name of the juvenile passenger was not released

Daniel Rosaslino, 22, was driving the second vehicle. Rosaslino was also injured and taken to the hospital. The state patrol said intoxication was a factor in the crash, which is under investigation..
