Spokane Public Schools hold make-up day of classes Monday after early season snow

From staff reports

Spokane Public Schools will hold classes Monday to make up for missed time during an early season snowstorm.

The district will be in session during a planned snow make-up day. Classes will be held to make up for a missed day Oct. 9, when an early season snowstorm dumped 3 inches of snow at Spokane International Airport.

Mild weather is forecast for this week, with a chance of rain every day through Thursday. Elementary schools will release early on Friday, but the after-school Shop programs will be available until 3 p.m.
