Post Falls DMV closes due to COVID-19 case
The Post Falls Department of Motor Vehicles office is closed temporarily after an employee tested positive for the coronavirus, according to a release from the Kootenai County Assessor.
The employee, who was asymptomatic, worked in the office’s motor vehicle licensing division between July 6 and July 10, the release said.
In accordance with guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control, effective Thursday, the office will be closed until further notice, according to the release.
Anyone who visited the office between July 6 and July 15 should contact their healthcare provider for next steps.

All appointments scheduled at the Post Falls office for Thursday or after will be accommodated at the Coeur d’Alene location instead.
