Care motivates activists

I was disheartened to hear that Ozzie Knezovich believes that “activists don’t care about people.” In truth, we do care about people, and that is exactly why we are active. We have seen too many people hurt by the effects of systemic racism, poverty, injustice, lack of health care, et cetera. All over the world people are already suffering from the effects of climate change.

It seems to me that those who just want to continue the status quo, or who are concerned with making money above all else, are the ones who don’t care about people.
