The Frontier Conference has announced that at least three of its fall sports will play this year. This includes football, cross-country, and golf.
The conference sent out a statement this afternoon saying “These decisions were made with the health and well-being of student-athletes, coaches, administrators and sports communities being placed as a top priority.”
Volleyball still remains a question mark but we expect to hear back about the sport in the not too distant future.
For football, the plan is for all five Montana schools (Montana Western, Montana State-Northern, Rocky Mountain College, Carroll College and Montana Tech) to play a round-robin eight-game schedule and then for the eligible teams to participate in the national tournament in the spring.
