Michigan man faces DUI charge in Spokane Valley crash early Sunday

UPDATED: Sun., June 28, 2020

A man driving a Chevy Cruze onto the Interstate-90 ramp from Sprague Avenue in Spokane Valley lost control of the vehicle, causing the car to roll just after 2:30 a.m. Sunday, authorities said.

The car came to rest on the left shoulder of the westbound on-ramp.

The driver, Robert W. Jarm, 25, was taken to a local hospital to be treated from his injuries. He was charged with driving under the influence, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Jarm is from Eagle Harbor, Michigan. It’s unknown if he was wearing a seatbelt, WSP said.
