Greater Spokane Incorporated is launching a two-week online event series that connects local chefs and restaurants with the community.

The Taste of the Town series, which kicks off with Barrister Winery on May 27, will feature online cooking classes, demonstrations, happy hours, wine tastings, meal kits, discounts and special menu items.

The series is intended to support local businesses and the hospitality industry by providing a platform to connect restaurants to customers.

Taste of the Town events are free to attend, but registration is required at tasteofthetownspokane.com.

The series is sponsored by Lukins & Annis Attorneys, Global Credit Union, Downtown Spokane Partnership, Inland Northwest Business Alliance and the West Plains Chamber of Commerce.
