The man who died in a May 11 head-on crash on Argonne Road has been identified as 44-year-old Kevin Witcher.

The death has been ruled an accident by the Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office.

A Ford pickup was heading south on Argonne just north of Bigelow Gulch Road at about 6:40 a.m. when the driver crossed the center line and hit a Honda sedan, the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office reported in a news release.

The Ford rolled and then struck a GMC pickup.

The man driving the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the GMC was uninjured. The driver of the Ford was taken to the hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening.

The sheriff’s office is waiting for the results of a blood sample to determine if he was impaired at the time of the accident.
