Vehicle hits pedestrian at Sunset and Cannon, causing life-threatening injuries
UPDATED: Sun., Nov. 15, 2020
A vehicle hit a pedestrian at Sunset Highway and Cannon Street just before 8 p.m. Saturday evening, said Spokane Police Department Cpl. Nick Briggs.
The pedestrian’s injuries were life-threatening and, around 7:55 p.m. they were still receiving medical care at the scene, Briggs said.
“This is all very preliminary,” Briggs said. “We don’t know who’s at fault.”
The intersection of Sunset and Cannon would be shut down for “a significant time,” Briggs said, and several blocks along Sunset would also be closed off during investigation.
