The Divided States of America

When the historians finish their review of the Trump administration, I think their determination will be that his tweets — supported by the massive propaganda social media campaign funded by the no-regulations corporations and billionaire/hundred-millionaires — have so widened, hardened and solidified the divisions in America that we no longer can be, and are no longer, the United States of America and can never be brought back together.

We are now the Divided States of America and the only remaining decision is how we divide the country between the urban, progressive cities and the rural, never want to change nor think for themselves areas. And whether the division can be made peacefully or will have to be determined by the final civil war that will totally destroy what’s left.

The DSA is rapidly becoming a third world nation in many ways and the COVID-19 epidemic is only accelerating that.
