Somebody needs you: Furniture, newspaper subscription sought

The goal of Somebody Needs You is to match donors with the specific requests of needy Spokane residents.

The list of requests is coordinated by the Volunteers of America in cooperation with recognized social service agencies in Spokane. If you have an item to donate, please contact the social service agency directly. Donors who can deliver items are especially appreciated. If someone you know needs help, contact a local social service agency provider.

•A mother of a newborn seeks two dressers and a coffee table. Please contact Gretchen Smith at New Horizon Care Center’s Parent-Child Assistance Program , (509)-979-2878.

•A 62-year-old woman who is disabled needs a newspaper subscription. She would like access to the news to stay informed. Her TV doesn’t work, and she has no computer internet skills. Please contact Alicia from Frontier Behavioral Health at (509) 838-4651 ext. 277019.
