An update on current, rescheduled and canceled dates for the local music calendar:

Ronnie Milsap rescheduling, again

The legendary singer-songwriter, whose original March 24 date at the Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox was rescheduled for Sept. 26, has canceled the concert for this month. Milsap’s team is working on scheduling another date, as he is still planning to perform in Spokane.

Ticketholders may keep their tickets for the same seating when the concert is rescheduled, or they may call the Fox Theater box office for more information for a refund at (509) 624-1200 or email foxtickets@foxtheaterspokane.com.

Interesting facts about Milsap, 77: Born blind (his family thought it was retribution for sin), Milsap’s grandparents gave him to the North Carolina State School for the Blind hoping for a better chance. He and his wife, Joyce, have been married since 1965.

Bridge Press adds cigar night

Owner Drew Padrta and Bridge Press Cellars continue to adapt during the pandemic to sustain their downtown business at 39 W. Pacific Ave. A Thursday night cigar night has been added to the weekly calendar, and Padrta has launched a fundraiser to keep livestreaming going to aid local musicians.

For more information, go to Bridge Press Cellars’ website bridgepresscellars.com.

Juanes cancels

Juanes has canceled his 2020 U.S. and Canadian tour, which means his date at the Fox Theater on Oct. 8 is no more.

Refunds for tickets purchased with a debit or credit card have been issued. To receive a refund for tickets bought by cash or check, contact the Fox Theater box office.

Cher postpones

Cher officially postponed her “Here We Go Again Tour” last month, and that included her Oct. 10 date, rescheduled from May 2, at the Spokane Arena. Ticketholders had until Aug. 15 to request a refund. However, for people who held on to their tickets, they will be valid for the new date when it is scheduled.

Cher’s message to her fans upon the postponement: “It breaks my heart to have to postpone our shows. I will be back onstage as soon as we know it is completely safe for everybody to come together and have fun again.”
