Single car crash leaves one injured, driver faces multiple charges

A car crashed into the railroad tracks at Alki and Fiske early Sunday morning while fleeing from a Washington State Patrol car.

A 1995 Lexus was fleeing from a state patrol car just after 2 a.m. The car  had its  lights and sirens activated when the Lexus turned off of Alki into a dirt parking lot. There the driver lost control of the car, hitting the railroad tracks before coming to rest against a fence, according to the state patrol. 

Calvin J. Huligana, 24, of Airway Heights was listed as the driver. He faces charges of driving under the influence, felony eluding, reckless driving, vehicular assault and reckless endangerment. 

Passenger Romeo Diaz, 24, was uninjured. Fellow passenger Vishal Ramnarain, 23, was sent to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center to be treated for his injuries.
